1. Purpose
The Founders’ Program is a special initiative within Thee Emporium’s Cosplay Corner (“CC”) designed to empower Black women cosplay enthusiasts and lifestylers by offering an exclusive barter system for secondhand cosplay costumes, pieces, and accessories. Founders commit to participating in pilot testing for the program and providing valuable feedback to enhance the platform’s functionality and inclusivity.
2. Membership & Eligibility
- Participation is exclusive to Black women
- Free membership

3. Item Contribution Guidelines
- Items must be clean and in good condition for resale.
- If dry cleaning/additional cleaning is needed and not disclosed, a 50% fee of the item’s valuation will be applied.
- Items must relate to cosplay or be usable in similar fashion.
- No continued negotiations for contributed items.
- Contributors set a requested valuation, with CC offering credit based on market value and internal assessment.
- Contributors may accept or decline the value offer from CC; declining does not affect future participation or benefits.
- Items will be resold at increased retail pricing with a 7-day change-of-mind guarantee for contributors to repurchase their items at the original valuation.
4. Store Page & Pricing
- CC will have its own exclusive members-only page under The Emporium.
- Unsold CC items will eventually be moved to Emporium and priced at retail.
- Pricing is aligned with trade-in value given to contributors.
- Purchases are credit-based (1:1 dollar-to-credit value).
- Members can buy additional credits separately.
- Membership and profile can be canceled/deleted anytime.
5. Barter Process
- Interested contributors must sign up and receive approval before gaining access.
- CC offers a Contributor Section for submitting items.
- Founders receive free shipping for 3 months, starting from the first accepted contribution.
- Contributors get a 7-day change-of-mind guarantee—allowing repurchase of their item at its initial credited value.
- No cash/money refunds; exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.
6. Founders’ Program Terms & Commitments
Participation Requirements
The Founders’ Program will accept up to 20 participants, each committing to the following:
- Minimum of 1 contribution within 3 months.
- Participation in feedback collection, via:
- One 1-hour focus group, OR
- One 30-minute 1-on-1 meeting
- Founders may voluntarily join NexSis Founder and Referral Agent programs.
- It is a free, voluntary program, with no penalties for non-participation.
- Founders may cancel/delete their profile at any time.
Founder Benefits
- Credits awarded for contributions.
- Founders can purchase additional credits to acquire CC items.
- Items listed at a discounted retail value for Founders.
- Completion of the program earns:
- A special gift
- 6 months of free shipping
7. Liability & Risk Terms
Risk Disclaimer
- Participants acknowledge and accept all inherent risks involved in the barter system and secondhand goods market.
- CC makes no guarantees regarding availability, pricing stability, or continued functionality of the program or store items.
- CC does not warrant that participation will lead to financial gain, increased trade value, or guaranteed membership benefits.
Limitation of Liability
- CC shall not be liable for:
- Any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from participation.
- Any loss or damage to contributed items once in CC’s possession.
- Delays due to third-party service providers (e.g., shipping carriers).
- Any personal or business-related losses due to program modifications.
- Founders participate voluntarily and at their own risk.
Indemnification
- Founders agree to indemnify and hold harmless All That i Can Play, its affiliates, and program administrators against any claims, losses, or damages related to:
- Misrepresentation of contributed items.
- Breach of program guidelines.
- Unauthorized use of CC barter system or credits.
8. Term, Termination & Program Completion
- The program lasts 3 months, starting from the first accepted contribution.
- CC may terminate participation for any reason, including fraudulent actions, misuse of credits, or intentional violation of guideli.
- Upon termination or program completion:
- Founders retain their awarded credits.
- Founders may continue shopping or contributing to CC.
- Founders may choose to enroll in the NexSis program at a discount.
10. Governing Law & Agreement Execution
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States.
- Disputes shall first be resolved via informal negotiation, followed by arbitration if necessary.
By participating, Founders acknowledge they have read and agreed to the program terms outlined above.
